Fire Department and First Responders The Cleveland Fire Department and Cleveland First Responders provide fire and medical service to the Village of Cleveland as well as the neighboring Towns of Meeme and Centerville. Unified Ambulance provides the ambulance services for the Village.
Cleveland is served by independent utility companies: Electricity is provided by WEEnergies. Telephone and local internet service is available from TDS Telecom. Wisconsin Public Service provides natural gas service. Cable and high speed internet connections are available from Time Warner. Local dialup internet service is offered by New Age Computer Systems, and by excel.net and Bytehead, both with offices in Sheboygan.

Guidelines from the the Police Department Welcome to the Village of Cleveland! As Chief of Police, I'm providing you with a little background of the Cleveland Police Department's operations. The police department consists of two full-time officers and one part-time officer. Also, with the police department is one full-time police clerk. The office hours of the police department are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The phone number for non-emergencies is 693-3442, for emergencies dial 9-1-1. The police department is dispatched by the Public Safety Joint Services. PSJS is located at the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department. If you call the police department and receive our voice mail and wish to meet or speak with an officer immediately, call the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department at 683-4200. The Chief of Police serves as the Emergency Government Director for the Village in the event of an emergency (tornado/other related weather storms). The Village has a Municipal Court. The police clerk serves as our Municipal Court Clerk. Court is held the first Monday of each month. Our judge is Honorable Cheryl Kohl. The court has jurisdiction on all traffic incidents and ordinance violations for persons over the age of 12. Trials are held when scheduled. The Police Commission was established in the Fall of 2000. The Police Commission is an advisory commission to our Village Board. The commission consists of five members who are Village residents. The commission makes recommendations to the Village Board reference hiring, dismissing, promotion of officer(s), and disciplining of officer(s). We are a D.M.V. agent meaning we issue temporary license plates, issue metal car and truck license plates and renew vehicle registration at the police department The Neighborhood Watch/Community on Phone Patrol (COPP) meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., at the Village Hall.
